What Apple Watch do I need?
Steady works with Apple Watch Series 4 and later. For wrist temperature features, you need Series 8, Ultra, or newer. The more sensors your Watch has, the more signals Steady can use.
How long until I get accurate scores?
Steady needs 3-7 days of sleep data to build your personal baseline. After 14 days, your baseline is considered personalised and scores become highly accurate. You'll see a confidence indicator on the Health tab showing your data readiness.
Is my data private?
Yes, completely. All processing happens on your iPhone and Apple Watch. We have zero servers and collect zero data. If you enable iCloud sync, data stays within your personal Apple ID — we have no access. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Steady Health and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Why is my health score low?
Your health confidence score drops when your current biometrics deviate from your personal baseline. Common causes: poor sleep, oncoming illness, high stress, jet lag, or alcohol. The Health tab shows exactly which signals are off and by how much.
Is Steady a medical device?
No. Steady is a wellness app for informational purposes only. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open Steady, go to Settings, and scroll to the subscription section. Your Premium status should restore automatically via your Apple ID. If not, tap "Restore Purchases" on the upgrade screen.
Why aren't weather tips showing?
Weather coaching requires location permission. Go to the Today tab and tap the "Enable Location" card to grant access. Then pull down to refresh and weather tips will appear.
